- When I attach my MP4 player to my PC, it is not recognised as a 'USB Disk Drive', why is this?
After installing your drivers and software, when you plug your MP4 player into your PC it should automatically recognise the MP4 player as a 'Removable Disk'; however sometimes your computer sets the device as 'Actions Mtp Device 000001'. If this is the case your Media Manager software may struggle to locate your MP4 player. It is very simple to resolve this issue, by following these simple steps: - From the menu on the MP3 player choose 'Setup' and press the 'M' button to confirm the selection
- From the Setup menu choose 'Online Device' and press the 'M' button to confirm the selection
- From the Online Device menu choose 'USB Disk' and press the 'M' button to confirm the selection
- Hold down the 'M' button for 2 seconds to return to the main menu screen
Now when you attach the MP4 player to your PC you should find that it is automatically recognised as a 'Removable Disk', and you can then transfer your music & media files using the Media Manager software provided. - Why are my movie files not working on the MP4 player?
