In these hands-on workshops, you’ll learn the techniques used to create beautiful hats and headpieces, from shaping sinamay and wool on traditional hat blocks to adding hand-finished trims and details.
Each session is creative, relaxed and welcoming, giving you the opportunity to explore shape, colour and texture while making your own unique piece to take home.

Amanda’s pieces are handmade from scratch, using techniques such as blocking sinamay on wooden hat blocks, steaming wool into shape, hand-sewing trimmings and crafting flowers with heated brass tools.
